The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, November 15, from 2-7pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 2022 M Street.


Mitchell Opera House

November 16th @ 7 PM: The Mitchell Opera House presents famous country artist, Bryan White. Tickets are $20


Adult Winter Swim
Date: Saturday, 11/17

We will be offering an adult Winter Swim program at the BNL High School Pool. This will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 8:15-9:15pm. The cost of this is $20 per calendar month. Winter swim will begin on September 17th. Participants must be 16 years of age and pre-register at the Parks Department.

Sierra's Fund Raiser
Date: Saturday, 11/17

Sierra is 13 years old and she has stage 4 fabrolamellar hepatocellular cancer it was in the liver and spread to the pancreas the cancer is in her blood stream. The fund raiser will be November 17 at Lehigh Field in Mitchell Indiana it runs from 10am to 4pm there will be Police vehicles fire trucks ambulance helicopter game wardens and forestry food and drink and Smokey bear.

International Church Service

On Sunday, November 18th the monthly International Service will take place at 3 PM at host church 39th Street Christian in Bedford. 39th Street Christian Church is located at 4 lane 37 and 39th Street in Bedford.


Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child
From November 12th through 19th, gift-filled shoeboxes will be collected at drop-off locations around town, like at the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church or Fayetteville Baptist Church.


RUN FOR HOPE

RUN FOR HOPE
Becky’s Place Shelter for women and children will hold the 5th annual Run for Hope on Thanksgiving Day (11/22/18). Register online at www.BeckysPlaceBedford.org or from 7am-8:30am on race day. Printable registration form is available on our website. Race t-shirts are $12 and must be ordered before November 15. To become a sponsor, please contact Cheri Bush cbush@archindy.org.


Free Thanksgiving Dinner

Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22nd at 1:00 pm. This free event is open to all ages, families or individuals. Valley Mission Church is located on Highway 37 between Bloomington and Bedford at Old Highway 37, just south of the Monroe/Lawrence County line at 110 Hillcrest Way.
